Welcome to Richmond Park Church Drama Group's collection of original Easter drama sketch scripts and song lyrics. The song lyrics were written to be performed by puppets, but you could sing them yourselves if you wanted!

The puppet song lyrics were written in the early days of puppetry at Richmond Park Church when we were using two orange felt mouths with eyes and floppy ears, only distinguishable from each other as one had a pretty blue bow! That puppet is called Happy, and has the fresh, bright, enthusiastic personality of Julie Andrews in The Sound of Music. Her bubbliness and joy is counter-balanced by Mopy, who's a bit skeptical and naughty, and sings in an out of tune sort of squeaky Lancastrian accent! Hence the format in the songs of the two bouncing off each other, but you can make of them what you will!

We are providing this as a free resource for other Christian drama groups, as the aim of these works is to spread the good news of life with God, and it would be a shame for them to be performed only once and then sit unused in a folder somewhere!
