What About Funerals?
Once all the paperwork following a death has been sorted, there are no legal requirements regarding the form of the funeral ceremony itself, so friends and relatives are free to organise to say their goodbyes as they see fit or in accordance with the wishes of the deceased.
The governement's Direct website and Bournemouth Borough Council website provide practical information about what you need to do following a death.
A short service is often held at the crematorium or burial cemetary and then a separate service of thanksgiving for the person's life at Richmond Park Church.
